Welll, it's not like there's a McDonald's on every corner, so if you're visiting Agincourt - which is in the middle of nowhere - this is where you get lunch. As someone stated in an earlier review there is no one in the place who speaks English... well, duh... you're in France. However, it does present a problem in figuring... More

There is only one place for lunch in Azincourt, and that is the restaurant named after the mad King Charles VI of France who was on the throne when the French lost at what all native English will refer to as Agincourt. And by that I mean that it is the sole restaurant in this small town. My wife and... More

Decent food with good service, our only problem was the waitress` English was as good as our French but we got there with a little help from a Belgian couple on the next table...Belgians speak every lingo in Europe....find some Belgian friends quickly.. Nice experience.

We remembered the battle of Azincourt on the 25th October 2015 exactly 600 years to the day. The town was packed. fortunately I booked well in advance in fact 1 year in advanced. It was well worth it. Excellent service and great food. the value was also excellent. Well recommended.

We took a chance and stopped off here for lunch after a visit to the Azincourt Museum. Service is cafe-style, the bar obviously a well-used local feature. We had the basics - a lunch formula that worked extremely well - goats' cheese salad, steak-frites and coffee, all of which were served promptly and without fuss and were tasty and generous... More

A restaurant called Charles VI in the Rue Charles VI - a king who never came to Azincourt and certainly not for the battle 600 years ago tomorrow. What irony! Decent food and beer, but slow service and casual. But only restaurant in Azincourt and is OK for lunch in the brasserie. The evening restaurant may well be better!

Small, friendly brasserie with good food at very reasonable prices. We needed a light meal and this fitted the bill.

We visited for lunch and ate in the bar which was busy but service was prompt and friendly. We had a snack: Crocque Monsieur and Frites, which was fine but saw more substantial food coming out too and it all looked good, and very reasonably priced.

We went along to the reenactment of Agincourt in late July and were part of a reenactment group. On the last night, pouring horizontal rain drenched the battlefield, so we ventured down to this pub. Some of our group, one French speaker included, went down a bit earlier and had the menu read to them. They had been offered a... More
