I dined alone, and chose the full 7 course dinner with accompanying wines, and I had a great evening (you can also choose 3 or 5 courses). The restaurant is in a historic building in a very cosy, elegant, and garden-rich corner of the city;...More

Located on the far east end of Frederiksberg Have, a truly lovely setting passed by many times on bike to and from Central Copenhagen, it was for dinner on Thursday night that a trusted friend as well as a hotel concierge prompted dinner at Mielcke...More

Invited my wife to this exclusive restaurant to celebrate our wedding-day. Very elegant and beautiful restaurant. And the food is just fantastic. And so was the wine that we had. Just to be inside the room is an experience. What a place and what fantastic...More

It is quite a mystery why this restaurant hasn't won a Michelin star yet, as it in service, decor, and - not least - food and drink certainly deserves one. We had the "Metamorphosis" menu with kombucha pairing, and it was outstanding. Dish after dish...More

Without doubt, M&H is a really good place. Great flavours, excellent drinks, good service and a lovely room. However, in this league, I would also expect something beyond the normal, and on that matter I have tried better elsewhere.

The location in the old garden is fantastic especially in summer, the restaurant is cozy and the staff very attentive. The food is very sophisticated and presented almost naked. But sometimes it seems like it is overdone and the taste seems often to be lacking....More

I have rated the restaurant average mostly because I do not exactly know how to rate it! We could not complain about anything (except for the coffee - 70 DKK for a terrible cold cup!!!!) the evening was nice food and was as they called...More

The Danish wine maker Peter Vinding-Diers spoke about his new book and wines. The restaurant did a 12 course dinner around his fantastic wines and it was one of the most incredible evenings ever from a wine and dine perspective. The restaurant is high class...More

Description
Our restaurant, set in one of Copenhagen’s most beautiful royal gardens. It is a curious and stylish cabaret of gourmet experiments, contemporary art and elaborate designs set to create a total experience. Design and art is a fundamental ingredient in the experience and our restaurant features the unique works of some of the most prominent artists and designers Denmark has formed in this decade. A treat for all your senses.

“At M&H we are in a constant metamorphosis with nature as the driving force, guided by us. Our passion for Japanese aesthetics and ingredients are undeniable. Our restaurant is hidden in the old garden society in a historical building, delicately and iconically restored. In tune with the best of the seasons, our memories, desires, and emotions, these impressions are what the kitchen shares with you on your plate. We’re making advances towards nature.”
