What a great fish’n’chips spot Not your usual sort of place... Great variety in fresh produce, lots of options We only tried the basic fish & chips this time but definitely going back for some grilled fish Very good Highly recommend

A little disappointed in grilled fish (barramundi & flathead) after reading such great reviews - chips were great and service prompt although not as helpful when giving advice about what’s best for kids

Loved the name of the place & had high hopes but we felt the battered fish, whether it was the fish or the soft shell crab in a burger a bit greasy. Chips good but we’d ordered medium portion for two and far too many....More

Yummy! Chicken salted fresh chips were great. Very busy but efficient service. Lost 1 star as the crumbed sea scallops were over cooked and we felt the crumb too heavy, potentially would be much better battered! Otherwise, a great meal :)

After a long road trip and reading reviews we stopped in on The Salty Crab. Staff were friendly but unfortunately crumbed local flake and choos were bland. Tastless fish ended up drowned in lemon. Not sure about earlier reviews but have to disagree. Sorry

We grabbed some fish and chips here to take down to the beach and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Everything was perfectly cooked and fresh. Worth going a little bit out of the way to go here.

I approached The Salty Crab to cater in-house for 11 of my family for a birthday. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised to find we had been given a designated area with the tables beautifully presented. After a quick chat with the owners (Mick &...More

As already covered seating is outside on the street, we have been there when others have had dogs sitting along side without apparent problem. Due to health regs would not think they would be allowed inside unless covered... More
