Having just arrived in Tacloban we went here to get some late lunch. A bit pricy for what we've tried in our four month stay in the Philippines so far, so we ended up ordering a plain cheeseburger deluxe, thinking that it possibly couldn't go wrong. But we came to realize that you had to pay an additional price to... More

I lived in Tacloban 20 years ago and Giuseppe's was a god send to those who just could not eat rice "one more day"! I recently went back to visit old friends and when we walked in, I felt right back at home. The food is amazing, the wine chilled to perfection, and the service is fantastic.

I'm still craving for it till now. If only Tacloban is so near Manila, I would definitely go back again and again just for the pizza. The price may not be cheap but it is so affordable compared to our pizza joint here in Manila but the taste is not at par. It's way to great.

Great place but same thing you find everywhere in the Philippines, super thin crust and hardly any sauce. I asked about more sauce and the owner said it would make it soggy. I am from the US and we have thicker crusts and more sauce. But for a Philippine version of pizza it was good. Great service and really nice... More

The common Philippine restaurant Italian-themed mistake I observed was the use of second-rate tomato sauce. Not this one! The wait, while it took quite a bit, is worth it.

Last time we were here was about a year ago. The ambiance is nice. Today, I choose tenderloin with cream/Cognac/mushroom sauce. The piece of Australian beef was good and cooked medium as requested. You seldom get this quality here in the Philippines. The mashed potatoes (extra cost) were ok too, home made? Not sure. But the sauce was no good.... More

I dined here twice. The first was September 2016. I had their salmon meal and pizza. Their salmon was so so for their price. It was not that bad but it wasn't 'that' good either. Pizza, same as my comment on the salmon. This month, I had their porkchop and my boyfriend had spaghetti and pizza. Porkchop was good, tasty... More

Had dinner with my boyfriend here the other night. Lovely music and atmosphere for a couple to dine. I ordered the Lupa-Lupa which was well done. They even give all their customers complimentary amaretto. All in all a good experience.

Guisseppies is my favorite restaurant in Tacloban. In my three visits to Tacloban, I have eaten at Giuseppe's 8 or nine times. Joseph, Kathy, and their staff are great. The food is wonderful. My favorite are the scallops. I can't wait to eat there again.

The food was alright and the staff were great. The place was also very nice and quiet, perfect for relaxing while eating.
