We made reservations. We arrived and the noise was deafening. The host showed us to our table next to a table of british tourists of 4 adults and 4-6 children. The lunch went downhill from there. We ordered the "menu" and a nice bottle of...More

We have been coming here for many years and it has always been exceptional. The dinning room is lovely, and the terrace is great in warm weather. Service has always been top notch, though we felt it was not as crisp as it has been...More

Our party had a wonderful wine tasting lunch experience. The restaurant and setting are beautiful. The service was attentive and comfortable. The consensus was that the mushroom risotto was the best main dish, but high marks also go to the vitello tunato, mushroom fonduta, peppers...More

The new location af a old classic restaurant. Posh with crystal, silver and linen. The winelist as big as a small car. Traditional dishes but well prepared. The best Vitello Tonnato of our week. Make sure to get a table outside next to the edge...More

We had lunch at Bovio based on a recommendation of a colleague. When we arrived and had a table on the terrace. The food was fabulous, particularly the risotto with porcini, and the wine list was extensive. It should have been a fantastic experience but...More

Description
The Bovio family, one of the oldest families of restaurateurs in Piedmont, already managers of the well-known Ristorante Belvedere of La Morra for more than 40years, has now moved to a new place, in a panoramic position among the vineyards of Barolo. Alessandra, together with her father Gian Bovio, continue the family tradition in the dining room.
