Recommended by the local Relais Arborina and did not disappoint. You know you’re in good hands when the locals join you for dinner. The wine list requires some preparation as its extensive and will make you happy, no matter your budget or taste. The menu...More

A bit snobbish from our point of view but being objective, they are really good. Cuisine is perfect, very good wine list and service with nothing to complain. Everything topped with view on cedar in Cordero di Montezelemolo - cannot resist :-)

I think our host selected this restaurant just as much for the wine list as the food. Both were awesome. Mascarello, vietti were just two of the Barolos the 7 of us tried. I liked the warm family atmosphere.

This was our second visit to the restaurant. The food is exceptional and the 47 Euro Menu Degustazione is ridiculous..... so much food... similar eating in a top U.S. Italian restaurant would be in the $150+ territory. The wine list is extensive and incredible. Prices...More

It had been several years since we had eaten at Bovio. We should have returned earlier. We were given a table by the windows that provide a panoramic view of the vineyard covered hills and valleys below La Morra. The twinkling lights of the small...More

Italian people tend to me more formal than other people. This restaurant is very classic. I've been there 3 or 4 times, and guests I saw were always elegantly dressed, but in a casual way. So, although there is not a dress... More

The Bovio family, one of the oldest families of restaurateurs in Piedmont, already managers of the well-known Ristorante Belvedere of La Morra for more than 40years, has now moved to a new place, in a panoramic position among the vineyards of Barolo. Alessandra, together with her father Gian Bovio, continue the family tradition in the dining room.
