My first sit-down meal in a restaurant since March 2020. Chose this place as I had heard specifically that they were enforcing the COVID health orders. Great breakfast!

Very unique pleasant setting. Menu was not what I expected. I was hoping for a more farm or tea room style cooking menu. Hawaiian Sausage soup was excellent, as were the quesadillao. Staff very pleasant but not very attentive. We were not asked about dessert....Soup was brought at the same as our main meal. Will return but maybe next year.More

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the good ladies who cook so well and can prepare such great sandwiches. I have to praise their daily soups! They do several types and all are excellent. I also have to appreciate their courage when...they do not hesitate to bring the finished food to your car in the worst frosts! I was honored to eat at your place and I would be happy to support you in the turbulent times of Covid-19. Thanks!More

Took a day trip to enjoy High Tea with family members. A wonderfully decorated table, fancy napkins and all. Great value for what you pay, all the fancy sandwiches, quiche, scones and desserts were DELICIOUS. I loved the tea menu and the presentation! I would...definitely go back to experience High Tea! Call ahead to book and receive, you will need to leave a deposit.More

We had been here a number of years ago. We were not disappointed. The service was prompt and friendly. Food was great. Nothing we could complain about.

First time visit to this restaurant as heard about this place. Went for lunch with my sister in-law after a nice drive from Winnipeg. We didn't have a reservation, and was able to get a table on the back screened in porch which was very...nice. I had the clubhouse sandwich on sour dough rye paid extra ($1.50) for sweet potato fries, sister in-law had the bowl of soup(cream of mushroom) sweet potato fries an reuban sandwich. Both to full to have dessert. Very happy with our food and would definitely return. Service was very good. Prices were very reasonable.More

The food was very good though for the price I would appreciate if they gave you a second teabag included. The service was very friendly, just a bit slow. It’s a leisurely way to enjoy afternoon tea in a great atmosphere.

We have almost always had good food at this spot, but today I ordered Farmers Breakfast with cracklings - grilled tomatoes instead of hash browns and it was superb. Cracklings were fresh and crisp. Anybody that is lonesome for the days of good old cracklings...- head on down to the farmhouse. Can thank the owner for his love of cracklings for this special feature.More

We had a lovely lunch at the Farmhouse on a beautiful day. We were able to enjoy our time on the screened-in patio with a lovely breeze filtering through. We all had their soup which was definitely homemade & very tasty. They were creamy potato...soup & a Mennonite sausage soup! The main lunch fare was Farmhouse salad Chicken Thai salad & a wrap. All super fresh, dressings homemade, and very generous serving for the small size. Dessert!! Oh my! Coconut cream pie, huge! Fruit crumble very tasty. The cinnamon bun was also huge, served in a cast iron mini skillet, but disappointed. Needed more cinnamon, raisins & syrupy. Our server was very pleasant & attentive. Very happy young lady! Thank you for a wonderful lunch in the country. Not so hard to find if you watch for the signs!!More

This place deserves every one of the five. Hard to find yes, since several directories insist this is Morris (it’s in Rosenort). Once we got there it was excellent from hello to goodbye. Best fries I’ve had in a very long time, and while I’d...have liked a few more onions and peppers on my cheesesteak the beef was delicious and unfailingly tender, not to mention piled plenty deep. The Turkey Noodle soup was tasty, clearly home made and wonderful. The lemonade (cherry, but several other flavours available) was very good, and large enough for a big cup to take home. Coffee was much better than restaurant average came hot and was kept topped up. Finally, in food, the coconut cream pie. Tall, tasty and as she said, they cut pies in 6 slices, so yes quite a big serving. Half came home (it won’t make it to tomorrow though). Service was pleasant and friendly without being pushy. Bit of a drive for us, but I guarantee we’ll be back.More
