Waitress was super friendly and food was good. Restaurant was clean. They have a bar side and family side where kids are welcome.

Waitress was very nice. The classic breakfast with Jimmy Sausage was a good portion and yummy, around $8 cheaper then you would get anywhere else. All 3 of us enjoyed breakfast. Even guests in restaurant very nice.
We like to travel the back roads and visit one of a kind resteraunts. This was on our list of places we wanted to see. Sadly it was disappointing, ate here twice and sorry to say it will be the last. The menus were filthy...and very limited . The food was bland and over priced.More
Good friendly service, fresh salads and custom styled meals. Thoroughly enjoyed our stop, going through rural Alberta.
Have been to this bar a ton of times as we have a permanent campsite near Cremona so we stop there Friday night if we do not feel like cooking. Some times the food is very good and some times average as I think there...is a high turn over of staff as there are always new waitresses. There is a older lady that works more in the restaurant side and she is rude to everyone, the bar staff are way better but I am sure it hard to get staff in a small town. The bar is better to sit in with tv's...take your chance food is decent...beer is always cold and they have a small liquor store.More
We went in then tavern for rib night and a couple of appetizers. They have a large selection of ribs that were quite tasty.
We were travelling off the major highway, and ended up in the neighborhood past the usual noon-time lunch. 3 of us ordered regular fare (beef dip, reuben, soup & sandwich special) - and were ALL delightfully surprised: meats were tender and plentiful, breads were fresh,...side salads were crisp & crunchy. Service was friendly but not intrusive. If we're ever in the area again, we'll be back!More
Food was good, not quite homestyle I wouldn't say, but pretty close. Food was tasty hot and arrived in a timely fashion. I also had a take out sandwich recently and I would rather have a sandwich here than subway any day of the week....We have also eaten in the bar side, and I feel the kitchen gets spread to thin on busy nights or special holidays. One time we waited over an hour for food, but didn't blame the kitchen. Food was still good when it arrived. Will eat here again.More
I know this Trip Advisor restaurant rating is for the Coyote Grill but we actually ate in the tavern. Same menu, same kitchen. We were on our way by to do some business in the area and stopped to see some friends and grab lunch....I had the Coyote burger, my wife had the Reuben and both were excellent. It was one of the best burgers I've had this summer. The only thing that didn't make it no. 1 was the bun. It was a sweet hamburger bun and I prefer a soft potato bun. But the burger itself was well cooked and well seasoned with just the right amount of toppings to make it a bit messy without over powering the meat. Definitely stop in again the next time we're up this way.More
We first discovered the Coyote Grill on a days outing with a friend from Victoria BC and enjoyed our meal so much we decided to return there on a more recent road trip. The Coyote Grill is less than 100 km. from Calgary. My wife...enjoyed a more than adequate bowl of beef soup followed be a Chefs salad. This was a large bowl filled with various types of garden greens, julienne carrots and beets, topped with real turkey breast, ham and a hard boiled egg. I enjoyed the coyote burger, a 6 ounce beef burger with tomatoes, pickles, lettuce and cheese. It was accompanied by a large serving of fries. The piece de resistance was a huge portion of apple berry pie finished with a crumble topping and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The service was friendly without being overbearing, and prompt. We will certainly dine at Coyote again, perhaps next time for dinner.More
