Our driver suggested we stop by on our way back to our hotel. And boy, was it one of the best restaurants we visited during our stay in Armenia! Sarkis and his wife were very hospitable and ensured we had an amazing dinner (all made from scratch). They even stayed open late for my family and I, as we were tired from a long journey of exploring the sights. The food and wine were amazing and one of the best authentic Armenian food we've had. Even more so, their hospitality and warmth is what made us fall in love with this restaurant. Thank you Sarkis for making our visit unforgettable and memorable! If you're in the area, it is worth coming here to eat. We will for sure be back the next time we visit Armenia.

This is, without exaggeration, the most delicious kebab that I have tried in Armenia! Salads, vegetables, fresh bread and cheese - I remember this luxurious table and my mouth waters 😌🤌🏻 We were greeted by the hospitable owner of the establishment, who is also a talented chef. Thanks to him for this amazing lunch, we will definitely come back here if we are in sunny Armenia again.

Small family restaurant in the Areni area. The food was plentiful and tasty. We tried local cheese, fresh vegetables and some incredible pork meat skewers cooked in the traditional tonir oven!

I have always heard that the food in Armenia is very tasty. But I appreciated how tasty it is at the Matevosyans' HOUSE restaurant! We were there on a group excursion. Colorful interior, beautiful mountain views and generous table. Insanely delicious meat and pepper salad, as well as everything else. And also wine and cognac tasting! And also a hospitable owner, who is also a chef! I recommend everyone to visit this restaurant and get great gastronomic pleasure!
