Rice with shrimp... this establishment continues to provide me with my go to favorite rice dish. I ordered the "Shrimp with Rice" (meanng more shrimp), and it did not disappoint. I was dehydrated from my hike at the Parque Nacional Carara, and the lemonade was...like "water to a man in the middle of the desert"... refreshing with just the right tang of lemon. Service was very good, as the waiter kept checking on me to make sure I was being taken care of.More

What a great place to stop for awesome seafood and magnificent service. Their menu offers great local creations and the owner´s attention is spectacular.

We have eaten here several times. We always have a seafood dish & have never been disappointed with food, service or value. Eduardo is an amicable host with much knowledge of the products he serves. We have tried octopus, shrimp, fish & lobster. All is...cooked perfectly & is usually accompanied with rice & vegatable side. Located just north of Quebrada Ganado on Hiway 34, a good place to stop & enjoy tasty CR food.More

As a Costa Rican who lives in the US, I like to come visit my home country and expect good costarican dishes when I stop by the road. El Coral was amazing! If you travel with kids, their high chair are really good with their...tray. My wife and I loved it!More

We got tired of eating lunch at places that all serve the same basic menu so we drove around a little and found El Coral. It was very reasonable and food was great, service good and the place has a rustic atmosphere.

We walked the beach from Tarcoles to this place as we were thirsty. Had a few beers and there nacho/bean combo. Service was good. Place was clean. We plan to go back for lunch during our stay here.

Very dissapointed as I try Chiveche almost everywhere I go in Costa Rica and this smelled so bad, I sent it back and we left. Try to be careful eating at Soda's and eateries along this Pacific Coast during "wet" season as the turn-over in...people eating their food is not as busy as "dry" season and I found a couple of places with awesome chiveche and a place like this that I wouldn't want to eat and be sorry later.More
