If you want to experience true local dining in Bonaire this is as real as it gets. It's dining under the trees and absolutely the coldest Beer on the island. Everything served here is fresh. fish caught that morning is served the same day at lunch.

We stopped here as part of an island tour. The place looked a bit scruffy. We were here for a sample of the cactus liqueur, but they seemed reluctant to provide it and there was a lot of standing around waiting. My husband gave up and went for a walk around the village, but didn't find it that interesting. It... More

There is not much in Rincon... even so, avoid this place. Service was lackadaisical and food was way overpriced for what eventually ended up on the table. Goat stew was fatty, minimal, and poorly served , and cost three times what it should have cost...

I couldn't agree more with UNCLEJ2XS review! We had goat stew plate & chicken stew plate with 2 bottles of water. Didn't ask the price & no menu/price list provided. To say we were shocked when we receive the bill was an understatement. The food wasn't terrible but it certainly wasn't worth $30+ IMO. The atmosphere is local & if... More

My husband and I heard of this hidden gem from a clerk at the Buddy Dive Shop. The beer is the coldest on the island and the food, spot on. We had goat and chicken stew. The only thing left on our plates were the bones. They only expect cash so plan accordingly. Some may think it's pricey, but we... More

Charlotte and I stopped at the Rose Inn at 12 NOON on a Wednesday and were told that the only food available was a beef stew plate. The place was very crowded and I am sure our server was truthful. We ordered two beef stews. Charlotte had a coke and i had two Heineken beers. The food was pleasant and... More

My wife and I stopped in after going to the National Park. My wife had the beef stew and I had the baked fish. She said it was the best beef stew she had ever had and my fish was awesome. Al the sides were very good also, rice and beans, plantains and salad. When on Bonaire seek out Rose's... More

This place is a must while on Bonaire. Take the time to get to know Melfina (Rose) and you will make it a point to see her on every visit. She exemplifies everything good about the island, The "brand" is'coldest beer on the island'. I really think it is. Try the Iguana soup at least once (it tastes like chicken),... More

Off the beaten path, up near Slagbaai National Park is a place called Rincon. I have come here for 15 years. They have not changed. Still themselves and authentic. Regulars and locals are very nice in and around the restaurant. Food is hardy home cooked food. Goat is great and YET, I did have Iguana as well. I love it.... More

My husband and I loved this place. I've read some of the other reviews about Mary's and I have to say that our experience was nothing short of awesome. The staff was very kind and fun to talk with, if you are interested in being friendly with locals. Unfortunately for me I don't speak fluent Spanish but my husband does... More
