They had PIE! A real pie with pastry all around. A decent sized and well filled pie. I ate it. Don't get me wrong, the supporting veg and fat chips were great but they were overshadowed by the quality of the handmade pie. I would...More

This is really a drinkers pub with a landlord that cares passionately about the beer. The accommodation however is substandard and urgently needs updating. I'll fitting curtains, worn-out towels, cheap bed linen, grubby carpets. Food was OK but nothing to get too excited about it.
