Great evening, Interesting, tasty well prepared cocktails. Good mix of menu items and the food we had was excellent, served by friendly, knowledgeable staff. We had Pheasant and the Peruvian Chicken both of which were delicious. House Red very palatable too.More

A very pleasant way to spend lunch with your friends or family. The atmosphere is very good and the food is excellent both in quality and choice. It is very reasonably priced too.

We were visiting friends in Berkhamsted, and had a great evening drinking and dining here. Enjoyed everything, from the interesting and varied menu, excellent service, pleasant surroundings, and perfectly cooked food! Nothing more to say, other than we will definitely return when next in town!

In the bar area yes, not in the restaurant, to be honest the food in the bar is just as good and don’t see why they wouldn’t let you order from the main menu if you’re sat in the bar.

Hi, yes it is. We access to the bar is a flat enterance from the High Street, or we have rear access to the restaurant which is on a lower level and just requires a small ramp to get over the threshold.

Description
Located in an old Georgian building this brasserie boasts a wonderful interior with several levels providing different dining environments overlooking an open, mezzanine kitchen. On arrival you will be greeted by our friendly, knowledgeable team and the lively ambience is complemented by a menu inspired by the simple, hearty dishes of M. Blanc's childhood. Alongside an appetising a la carte menu and carefully selected wine list we offer an excellent value set menu and on Sundays we serve a classic roast with all the trimmings. Younger diners can choose from a special children's menu or order a half sized portion of many of the a la carte dishes on offer. For summer dining our secluded terrace is the ideal escape.
