My partner and I were going to eat here but the minute we got to the door all we could smell was fish. And it was not the fresh kind. Fresh fish you cannot smell, and you could smell this from outside the front door. Just something to keep in mind if you're not a fan of seafood, or stinky... More

We had lunch here today and I can honestly say I can't fault the service, setting and atmosphere (it was very busy). The food was good, but it just didn't really impress me. My mussels were nice but the sauce was a little on the bland side for my liking. The kids had nuggets chips and a mini cheese burger... More

We enjoyed both as lunch and dinner at Orca and both were delicious and staff very friendly! Our dinner was especially amazing, have the chicken and coconut rice and my husband the Pork Belly we both thoroughly enjoyed them! My husband even saying it was the best Pork Belly he has had!! We enjoyed a beer and a red wine... More

Probably Raglan's smartest restaurant, with views over the waterfront, interior and exterior seating available. Booking recommended, but we managed a walk in for two at 7.30pm on a Monday night. Good selection of NZ produce and wines. Loved the market fish (tuna) served on a pasta sheet with veges. Very reasonably priced for the quality.

Hoped we would be seated by the window out looking out at the water as several were free so a bit disappointed we weren't given the option. Food was very nice but expensive. Service was good at the start of the night but we couldn't get the attention of the staff as the night went on, and struggled to wave... More

Really busy so a popular place to go for the locals and people looking for a more formal sit down meal. Food was quick to table and service good. Cost was also reasonable.

We busted Raglan on our honeymoon and enjoyed a lovely lunch at the Orca. Loved the green lipped mussels, salt and pepper squid, and salad with feta and kumara. Nice atmosphere and outdoor seating.

Been there twice, and for sure will repeat. The steak cooked to perfection, seafood soup... ufffff. And the lamb, top stuff! Now, maybe I was lucky, but we saw orcas swimming at the bay... which is funny because the restaurant is called Orca. Really magical experience. Prices are a bit high, but well spent!

We were slightly worried that as the restaurant is attached to a hotel we would be getting food of an average pub variety. Not to be, the food was definitely restaurant quality, and prepared by someone who likes good food and presentation of good food. We both chose the fish of the day and wow it was so good. Unbelievably... More
