This is one of two very good maple syrup eateries in Lanark County. This one is not open year round. You will enjoy your breakfast here if you like pancakes with maple syrup.

Over the years there has been a decline in the quantity of of food given in an order. In particular the Gluten free pancakes are less than generous. The ambiance is beautiful, the quality of the food is mostly good-I'm fussy about fruit being fresh.

Costly, delicious pancakes, available with the usual sides..bacon, ham...good coffee..but with a family it is expensive. Only open in the spring when the sap is running. Then it is a very busy place with excellent service.

I organized a group outing from our Tennis club in Ottawa for breakfast at Temple's. It was a very enjoyable outing. The breakfast was very good and the maple syrup was delicious They have a very inviting dining room with friendly service. After breakfast we enjoyed walking off some of our breakfast on their nature trail. As well we enjoyed... More

We drove out from Ottawa, and arrived around 9:00a.m. on a Wednesday morning, were warmly welcomed and seated immediately. We were happy to find ourselves in a large, beautiful and well-lit room, with lots of natural wood, big windows and a magnificent fireplace. The room was a pleasant temperature - which in our case means a little cool - perfect... More

Excellent maple syrup camp. Beautiful log interior restaurant there are tonnes of maple products to take home. The menu is more sophisticated than the standard sugar bush, with items like maple swirl French toast. We go here every year and have never been disappointed.

We just recently visited my son and Daughter-in-law in the Carp Ontario area. They asked us if we would like to go out to breakfast to have some delicious pancakes and other trimmings . I thought it would be great since the weather was on the chilly side and we needed to do something inside. Well we started out on... More

The menu at this sugar camp includes generous staples of pancakes, waffles, peameal bacon and of course syrup. The omelet is a deep dish concoction which is more like a frittata than an omelet and was pretty bland. The pancakes were wonderfully light and fluffy. It was nice to see options for family style eating for 4 or 6 people.... More

Great ambiance, clean efficient and tasty.... Limited menu but well prepared and presented. You can take a nature walk and see the operations of a sugar camp.

We went the Temples for lunch on March 13. The pancakes tasted like a mix, the baked beans like they came from a can, the sausage was barely warm and dried out, and the peameal bacon was raw. The service and environment were okay. The short trail through the sugar bush was not very good. We went to Wheelers Pancake... More
