The evening dinner in the restaurant was delicious. The restaurant in the summer has a large terrace with outdoor bar. Inside there is a cozy lounge with a large aquarium for lobsters and oysters. On the other side of the aquarium is the main restaurant with wood-burning oven for the meat lovers. All dishes are BIG. The average person has... More

The phaesant was cooked to perfection. The youngsters from the Dendooven family have taken over and it is still as good as 25 years ago. Very pretty surroundings. You can visit the old barn that is still used for the cattle. Staff was friendly and helpful. Recognised my dad from 20-30 years ago when we used to go there on... More

Tranquil rooms, only the cows to watch you when you use the wellness centre and without having to share it with other guests. The restaurant serves amazing steaks and the set menu is a winner. I wish I didnt have to share this place as I wanted to keep it my secret.

Great scenic place. After arriving on time, on a busy Sunday, we had to wait at the entrance for 15 minutes without anybody bothering about us. When finally guided to our table the service followed quickly as did the appetisers. But then... More than an hour waiting time for the main course. No surprise as there was no visible sign... More

We came here as part of the best of Belgium tour of Quasimodo. We had ham sandwiches which were very good and waffles with whip cream. The country setting is spectacular and we really enjoyed the drive out to this restaurant

Best meat I've ever had. HUGE portions, don't bother getting starters. Service not the fastest, but friendly. The show cooking is great for the overall atmosphere in the old farmhouse.

The whole atmosphere of the restaurant is fabulous, but you must try the aged meat from animals breed on their farm. All cooked to perfection.

Delicious food, the meat, the fish, everything. The meat is grown on the fields next doors. Don't come on Sunday, the service is much slower because of the crowd. It's worth to come!

You will never leave here hungry. Grilled aged meat from their farm is a must try. A well oiled , service minded , family run establishment.
