I am appalled by the service at The Arbor. The staff fat-shamed a customer and made fun of her appearance to her face. When we tried to speak to the manager about the situation he was completely defensive and dismissive. I will never go back...here and don't recommend anyone support a business that treats people so horribly. I'm incredibly disappointed.More

I have been coming here since my teenage years that were split between Sauble, Wasaga, Grand Bend, Turkey Point and here. The foot longs and burgers are good old fashioned fare served on big buns. Others complain but the buns are to hold the awesome...assortment of fresh self serve toppings. This is beach food at its best! If you dig that sort of thing you’ll enjoy Arbor’s. If you don’t, you’re broken and you should go find something else. My staff experiences have always been great, same with my friends experiences here, maybe that’s because we smile when ordering. Sometimes life becomes a reflection. Love this place, will keep coming.More

Foot longs are everywhere now. The foot longs here seem a little thin. Could be bigger. Buns were fresh. Topping are the highlight. It’s like eating a salad with your dog. The drinks are expensive. Fries are okay. Always a yearly trip and will continue...to be so. Just seems to be losing its uniqueness. Staff was excellent, friendlyMore

Typical beach front fast food take out that just won't die....area neither clean nor dirty, just kinda OK with smell getting worse as the heat increases. This restaurant probably hasn't changed their menu since the 50s, minus the affordability factor. My husband always raved about...this place but I think his gut response is from a wave of nostalgia rather than the wave of nausea that should accompany such an unappealing cheaply made hot dog with store bought white buns. The best reason that I can tell that this restaurant is still in business (because the food is sub par...it even makes McDonald's look high end) is that people are confusing their taste buds with memory lane of great family times long ago. That and the fact that there are very few restaurants that survive all year long in Port Dover - so it has no competition. This restaurant would have closed decades ago anywhere else.More

Very pricey for a family. No place to seat. Eat outside by parking lot fighting wasps. I have had better food elsewhere. Do not know if I am coming back. Ice cream is expensive. Things need to improve.

I have come here numerous times over the years but this time was a bit different because we are in a pandemic. Before this you were able to help yourself to the toppings for the hot dogs and hamburgers but this time you have to...ask for what you want which was not a big deal but I do feel bad for the people working there that have to do the extra work. The food still tastes as good as it always has and that wasn't an issue it just was difficult to adjust to the fact that there was no seating even on the outdoor patio. Hopefully things will resume back to the way they used to be in the near future.More

What a disappointment .....we ordered 2 foot longs and got a tasteless tiny wiener that got completely lost in a massive size bun. The proportions are so out of whack it made me laugh. What happened? This used to be a hotspot . My girlfriend...was there a week ago and said it was terrible and had to throw half her hotdog out. There was only two sets of people ahead of us. I wondered why on a Saturday at noon it was so dead. We won't be back.More

I have been going to this restaurant for approx 60 years - it’s been dependably delicious this whole time. The topping choice is varied, and the homemade zucchini relish is something I always look forward to - and it never fails. Even when busy, the...service is friendly and efficient. I love this place.More

Came here on a Saturday for lunch. Husband had the burger and I had the foot long hot dog. Both were very good. They taste the way burgers and hot dogs should taste. Juicy and flavourful. Food came quickly with friendly staff working the windows....Condiments were outside and you could help yourself. We sat at the tables provided outside. Great place for a quick bite.More

Visited today with my wife and parents. I haven’t been here since the late 90’s and nostalgia had me thinking with was better then it was. The hot dog wasn’t very tasty, corn dog was very greasy and wet inside. Fountain pop is almost unlawfully...expensive(my opinion). They only bright spot was the buns, they were tasty and fresh.More
