This was an unexpected pleasure as it is hidden along the unpopulated route to North Beach. Great baked goods in a unusually charming setting. After camping in the damp weather for several days, my stop here warmed me up immediately!

All the best baked goods. My favourites were the cinnamon buns and the cranberry almond? shortbread-esque cookies. The decor is typically hippie and eclectic and generally just nice to be around. The young girls who work here are very friendly and patient. A little pricier than some baked goods elsewhere but excellent quality.

On the way to Agot beach. A school bus turned into a neat cafe in the forest. Everything we tried was delicious and the employees were very friendly. We stopped here for coffee and treats three times. Definitely worth a look!

We had lunch at the Bus location. Very good pizza and chili in an interesting locale. Great cinnamon buns as well.

The Moon over Nikon is now in a lovingly decorated "hippy" bus in the bushes (which sign out on the highway - look for the cars parked nearby). Its worth the stop no doubt. Great coffee (best I had on Haida Gwaii!), delicious goodies and wonderful soup and salad lunches. Not to be missed.

This bakery is really a one of a kind experience, and the food is good too. The bakery is set in an old school bus, complete with seating, just off the highway. It was very busy everytime we went. We bought pastries and lunch here, both were good.

What a fun, quirky stop for lunch. An old painted school bus where there is a bakery and a few booths. A couch, chair and table outside under a canopy. An the food was good too!

We loved this quaint little bakery and bistro located in an old artfully repainted school bus. This is a great place to meet people and have enjoy conversation. They serve good coffee and baked goods. I'd specifically recommend the cinnamon buns. There is a covered seating area with an eclectic variety of comfy couches and chairs situated outside or you... It was like stepping back into the age of the hippies. We had delicious cinnamon buns and drinks while sitting outside at a little table in an attractive garden.
