Only been twice, raved about the lasagne first time, had it second visit and it was just slop, hardly any pasta sheet, no topping, may as well have had gravy mince, but it did have good flavour. Waiter did say I could have another but it would be the same as they are not cooked on site, bought in, and... More

Popped in with the intention of having dinner. Was visiting family after moving from my home town over 3 years ago. Slight change to the layout of the place resulting in less seating apparently. only one person serving on the bar so waited quite a while to get a drink. Couldn't find any empty tables so decided against eating there... More

I have visited three times, twice to eat and once for drinks. The food is good standard pub fare. I wouldnt recommend the jacket potato it was microwaved, was chewy (overcooked) I would say and tasteless.. There is plenty of other choice and the menu does seems to change quiet often. The inside of the pub is clean but as... More

My wife and I decided to go out for a pub lunch without the kids. We asked if they were serving hot food as we walked in and were told 'yes, take a seat, menu is on the table'. First attempt to order food and they didn't have the favourites platter (can't be that favourable). Second attempt - no fish... More

We have eaten at this pub many times and will continue to do so. Pleasant and friendly staff, great food. Always good sized portions and piping hot. When it comes to pub grub it can't be faulted! Thank you and keep it up!

Took family that were visiting for Sunday lunch.. food was awful crusty mash, carrots that were foul, ridiculously slow service. When asked at the end of meal if everything was ok I asked if he would have eaten them carrots just for an example, you what he said.. I don't eat vegetables!! neither did I that day!! Will never return.

We did ask on the way in if they were serving food.... what we failed to ask was if they were serving at all. Only two people on in a very busy bar, both avoiding eye contact with customers and a queue piling up. So I can't comment on the food as we never got to order. We left and... More
