We missed out on Tapas here last year so we were determined to return for lunch. Opens at 13:30 with lots of tapas variety on show in glass cabinets on an old wooden Spanish bar. The place has a great atmospheric and authentic feel - truly delightful. A very helpful waitress who described each dish on offer in perfect English... More

The food was so fresh and so cheap, just wonderful. 2.00 to 3.00 for a tapa (and big sized too), and very nice staff. We came back 3 times in 1 week! Muchísimas gracias :)

First impressions, truly authentic, old, atmospheric and delightful. Lots of varied food on offer in the cabinets. A very helpful waitress with some English to match my halting Spanish! Tried several dishes the standout favourite for me was the Chorizo and black pudding dish with onions, very tasty with a slightly sweet overtone. I also liked the Pork with Apricot... More

This is a small local bar/restaurant and competition for tables is fierce, so we arrived early by bus, around 5.30 to get a table and then drank wine for a while before ordering food. The system for the Tapas is very quaint, there is a large glass counter were all the food is displayed, you just go and pick what... More

First visit here for a while but as good, as ever. Difficult to find anything to fault to be honest. 7 tapas dishes and four bottles of water for under 35e, so just over ten euro a head and we all left very full....excellent service with helpful staff. Would recommend for anyone looking for something different to the normal resort... More

Very good food and atmosphere for those who want to try Spanish food. And it's not expensive. Luckily I had a Spanish speaker with me and had no trouble communicating but it might my occur.

Always buzzing! This is a great tapas bar! Staff very friendly and well informed. Visited twice during our two week stay and consistently good. Crab, prawn and Brie on bread excellent as was chorizo with black pudding, pork with prunes and apricots, and chorizo with chickpeas. Tapas fab but puds not so unless you like synthetic cream. Overall very good.... More

We visited this bar twice while staying in Tias. The tapas was amazing, particularly the Black pudding with chorizo (I think it was called Revoltijo?). I was dreaming about that black pudding afterwards! The menu is in Spanish, so a great chance to practice your translation, but the staff were awesome and helped us out :) Very good value for... Recommended to visit by a local friend. We used bus to get to and from Playa Blanca and so due to poor Lanzarote bus service arrived before 6pm and found one side of place almost full and so were guided to a smaller room with half a dozen tables which were soon two thirds full. We had a selection of... More
