La Huella is a delight. Location right on the beach on a perfect day with sun and seaside breeze. Service is quick, smart and efficient. Maitre 'd on point attentive even without having reservations I was treated with great respect. Food was fresh, delicious. I...recommend having a licuado (preferably durazno without sugar before your meal - thirst quencher). I had the filet de Lisa skin on. Simply put, a magnificent experience. When I departed, the line was out the door to get into La Huella. I understand why.More

No doubt: " La Huella " is a must destination on anybody's culinary excursions list. While we feel that the "JOSE IGNACIO Experience" is greatly overrated, the setting and decor of La Huella are worth the upcoast trip. Hard to beat, yes, the beach front...breeze along with 'St. Tropez' type no-nonesense decor is sublime. If you are looking to match the ambience with decent food you may be disappointed. The homemade bakery is delicious but we tried Ceviche, Rabas, Chipirones, Mejillones,... all were 'ok' at best, basically boring, uninspiring and not worth their money. The junior staff while in training was helpful. All in all to be repeated, just don't go hungry.More

Nice location...overlooking the ocean! Cool ambiance. Despite being rewarded as one of the best restaurant in LATAM, food was average...

I've been to La Huella quite a few times. Each time the quality of the ingredients have exceeded my expectations. I recall being overwhelmed with the taste of a *carrot* from the parrilla (!!!). They appear to have agreements with local providers/farmers for the best...of the best.More

If you like chic beach bars and restaurants, this is one of the best in the world. The shabby chic decor blends nicely with what you want out of an upscale beach restaurant. Drinks... pricey, and they get the job done. Food... we very much...enjoyed our meals and didn't see anything around us that didn't' look delicious. But lets face it, you're not sitting at this beach, in this restaurant, because of the world class food, you're here for the ambiance. This is the kind of place you just want to sit at all day long, people watch, ocean watch, and enjoy Uruguay so much more than all the suckers jammed into Punta Del Este that didn't make the beautiful drive up the coast. Don't miss this place!!More

They have a very diverse menu. It was hard to chose. The portions are large so we ordered an appetizer and fish for the main. We split both and still had some leftovers. Staff were attentive.

The food is fantastic. The atmosphere is very pleasant. My favorite for years. There is no mistake. We went 5 times in our last stay in Punta del Este.

A Must Do for our stay in Punta del Este. The parking is a joke; do the valet, worth the $. We were smart and made a reservation online this time and they honored it immediately while the line outside grew. Not the best seating...choice. Ended up on the porch right next to the waiting line. At first I didn't like it, but then it was interesting to watch all the Cool People trying to get in. The service was prompt and efficient. The grilled seabass was delicious and the wine was perfect. It's more about the show; there are better restaurants in town.More

Perfect combination of a charming beach, great food and good service. All the dishes we’ve ordered were perfect cooked. The kids were craving for sushi and for our surprise they also serve it there. So everyone was happy! Make a reservation if you’re going on...a holiday and ask for the sofa lounges on the terrace upstairs. The view is amazing!!!!More

Hi weekends are always open. However since they work most during summer time, I would give them a call first. The walk on the beach is amazing all year around. ;-))))
