A nice wine bar with relatively good food and though everyone in there was having a great time, it wasn't for me. Service was abysmal, slow and disorganized. There were two dogs in the place which would occasionally come to the table to beg -...I am a dog owner but I do NOT agree with having dogs in a restaurant. The tapa menu is extensive. I tried the tempura vegetables, the tortilla española, the vegetarian chivito - all of which were good. The eggplant was a ripoff for the price, the chorizo was exceedingly fatty. Wine list is good, has a bit for everyone. But I have to give them two stars, service was terrible and I don't eat with dogs.More

My wife and I have been so many times we’ve lost count. Excellent choice of wines by glass or bottle including very tasty tapas. Sole & Fernando have done an amazing job. Well done guys!

We loved this cozy and cute wine bar. Almost every local we met around town would then tell us about this place as well. Sole (the owner) personally greeted and served us and she was amazing. Highly recommended

There no better establishment in the José Ignacio for tapas and wine. When combining great food with amazing staff, there is excellence. Our 3 night stay, we dined here 2 times with consistent great meals and service. Soledad, Fernando, Paz, and the rest of the...staff were impeccable and have a great chemistry. Wishing all many blessings and great success!More

Solera is a great spot to stop for a few hours and enjoy a wide variety of wine from Uruguay (and other countries). Highly recommended! Was perfect for a rainy day, even better the next day when it was sunny.

These guys set an objective to serve and to be and they have way exceded it. I love the simplicity of the place, the food, the wine and the people.

Solera is the ideal place to enjoy yourself drinking excellent wines - following the most accurate advice of the Sommelier Soledad, owner - and accompanied by the most delicious tapas you can imagine. Everything has been carefully selected and fresh products used and the result...is superb! The best wines, not only local ones but also international and a great "tapeo". The attention to the client is perfect, not only given by Soledad but also all her staff, making the stay enjoyable. Do not miss Solera, either alone , in couple, or with friends!More
