Me and my girlfriend ended our South America trip for four weeks with a couple of days in Jose Ignacio. We visited La Susana for lunch one day and it was a really good experiance. I recommend to pre-book a table outside with a nice...view over the beach.More

The location is terrific. We went for lunch and the staff was very nice and the food was good, but we were rushed somewhat and the presentation of the meal was below average: quickly pushed in front of us. The prices are about 10 to...15 percent too high. The waitress was average and when we said we would like to add a tip to our bill she suggested 15 percent, when 10 is about the most anyone pays. She was a bit presumptions. We enjoyed the meal and the restaurant, but the restaurant is not a good value for what they charge.More

This is a place to go people watching. Service is excellent. Food is good but not outstanding. Setting is great. Prices are high. Portions reasonable. We ordered calamari, salad, wine, and the catch of the day. All very good. The calamari had a little too...much oil but they were very good, not chewy. Wine was expensive compared to other high end restaurants.More

Where to begin? This was a truly disappointing experience from start to finish. Firstly, we came expecting good things as had heard it was great and one of the nicest spots in José. So, we cannot argue with the location, right on the beach, this...is a great spot for a sunset cocktails. At which point you should then leave and go eat somewhere else. The staff here are disorganised, a bit rude, and really have no concept of customer service. The food is average, and really shouldn’t be at the prices they are charging. I had a great steak, however my partner ordered grilled salmon that when it arrived was so raw in the middle it blew a closer resemblance to sushi. The staff seemed confused at our request to have it cooked properly, which took another 15 minutes by which time I had finished my dinner. On complainjng about this, all the senior staff refused to come and deal with us and left it to the junior waiters. I might add that this would be semi acceptable in a very busy restaurant but when we were there, there were only two other tables of people, so really no excuse. My advice is that in José Ignacio, there are so many cool new and laidback places to go eat and have fun, skip La Susana COMPLETELYMore

Great atmosphere and food right on the beach. Our service was lovely. I thought the ribs were incredible! As others have said the price point is appropriate for the type of restaurant and the location. Make sure you reserve especially in prime season. Enjoy!

Went to La Susana with friends to celebrate my friend's wedding and part of the staff was really nice, but another part had no patience with all of us. We know that it might be difficult to serve lots of custommers at the same time,...but it's unacceptable to be rude with them. We were there to celebrate and most of us finished lunch completely disappointed.More

Casual beach restaurant with great food and excellent service. We had a fantastic caipirinha at the bar and were seated after a 10 minute wait. The salmon was perfect and the rabas (calamari) were awesome. Very happy to have made the drive out there. Three...persons main course, dessert and coffee approximately US$150.More
