We were looking for a quick bite after our hike. Patio is open. Although sunny; but still a bit on the cold side. Soup was just OK. Based on the set up, I was expecting the food quality would be better. Service was good.

We stopped in for a meal this evening and were told to use the contactless menu. We never used one before and after three attempts to have it explained to us on how to use it all we got was read the card. Frustrated we...just left, it ruined out night out.More

The waiter lied about a meal being gluten free and I got very-very sick from it. They are not celiac friendly at all. If you have any dietary restrictions, avoid them at all cost.

We thought we would try our first outdoor dining experience during Stage 2 of COVID at this location as the ads seem so glowing. First of all very slow service, I could have cooked it myself and served it faster. The staff were not friendly...and the food was very bland. This was not a busy time so there would be no problem with time. I ordered a Mediterranean omelet, and it was advertised with feta cheese, no cheese whatsoever not even salt and pepper. Good luck staying in business. Next time it’s Wimpeys for me!More

We were 8 friends for breakfast. Most of us had the breakfast special,(which included choices). Food was good and plentiful. Coffee kept coming and was included. Service was friendly and efficient. Nice atmosphere.

The food was good. It was only breakfast the eggs were exceptional. The service was adequate however when we complained about their drinks, the server failed to do anything. This is a restaurant we will return to.

My daughter & I arrived at 11:30AM Sunday morning, the restaurant was not busy. We sat and ordered immediately...we waited 42 minutes to get our cold breakfast. The manager apologized several times during our wait and took $6.00 off the bill. I absolutely do not...recommend this restaurant. This was the second chance at the same restaurant. You won’t fool me again.More

We were in the area and stopped for desserts after dinner. Nice large restaurant with outside sitting and friendly service. We tried different desserts, large portions and very good.

Went for lunch during a visit to Toronto from UK. Very limited menu, poorly cooked food when it eventually arrived after a long wait. Poor service as no explanation for wait time. Music too loud and inappropriate. Cannot think of anything good to say about...the venue.More

My wife and I got off thee 407 highway and were too tired to go home to prepare dinner dropped in at the Symposium Restaurant and had hamburgers, beer and Greek salad. The food was delicious and the price was right.

My wife and I recently met two old friends for lunch at Symposium Cafe, 8187 Yonge St just north of Toronto on a sunny, warm Saturday in early June. The location is attractively finished inside, and also features a large front patio with well shaded...tables. We arrived about 11:50 am, seated ourselves inside and ordered our meals within about 15 minutes. We then chatted about all kinds of things until I realized that 45 minutes had passed since our orders were taken. Our server had not reappeared during that time. We waived down another server and asked what had happened to our orders. After several minutes more, our server showed up with two of the meals and told us that they had a table of 18 (!) that was “ahead of us.” More time passed and then the other two meals arrived. Unfortunately the food was no better than the service. I ordered a veggie wrap made with grilled vegetables. Unfortunately the contents were a sodden sloppy oily mess. I ate half because I was hungry, and left the rest. My wife had a feta and spinach omelette which she described as tasteless. Our friends wisely restricted themselves to fruit and a smoothie. First the server and then the manager came to apologize for the long delay, but offered no discount or other compensation. They didn’t ask how our meals had been and the uneaten half of my meal was removed without comment. We won’t be going back. While the bad service was hopefully a one time event, the food leaves a lot to be desired. There are many better places to have lunch in the Toronto area on a beautiful day.More

Good for after movie coffee and dessert. Has outdoor patio. Chairs are showing wear. Needs a revamp in decor. Food was good.
