Wide variety of well made kebabs

Visited in mid August with my dad. Lots of good things going for Chateau Kebab Pros: Ample seating area and parking Wide variety of kebab dishes originating from the Levant, Iraq and Iran. Preparation are very tasty; I recommend the lamb shank and Iraqi lamb kebab Prompt arrival of food Prices are reasonable for the quantity/taste (~ $18-$20 a plate) Cons: Servers were generally friendly and could speak multiple languages (e.g. Arabic Farsi, English, French), and yet it happened twice that our orders were simply forgotten. Additionally I found it odd that they were quickly taking empty plates off the table while we're eating I had ordered an okra preparation that didn't include too many pieces; strange given the price and inexpensive nature of the vegetable... I would revisit from time to time, or looking for somewhere to bring a big group

Great place for a gathering.

We were looking for a place to hold a gathering for twenty people after a family memorial. I had called in advance to book and they were very organized to call me back to check on timing and numbers. Mr Kassim and staff welcomed us and helped us choose the right amount of food to order for our group. The staff were helpful and efficient and the food was very good. We stayed about two hours and never felt rushed or pressured. They accommodated the vegetarians in our group and all 18 of us were very pleased with the meals.

Outstanding Restaurant

Last night we went to this restaurant and we loved it. I had the mixed kabab (one chicken and one spicy meat) while my wife had the mixed with lamb and meat. They were both outstanding. We have been to other places similar to this but this is by far, the best and most tender meat we have eaten. I recommend this to anyone and we will make this place a regular hangout.

Very Delicious Food, Very Satisfying with Excellent Service

I went with my family (with a reservation). There was a delicious lentil soup, grilled vegetables, rice and various grilled meats especially the top notch grilled Kababs! There fries superfluous, pita, hummus and Epic Baba Ganoush. Hot tea with sugar followed the meal. The food came promptly. We love the beautiful and warm atmosphere where quality foods served by professional management and friendly and humble staff. They also have a praying area in the parking lot. I would definitely go back if I were in the area.

Very good service. Excellent quality food. A little bit pricy but it worth it Best to look at their monthly offers if you order for big family. I even ordered food home from this place and i got the same quality. Thank you and keep up good work

Yummy family-style dishes!

We had a large family gathering and we were treated like a member of the Chateau Kebab family too:) Food was delish, perfectly cooked for a family-style service and there were plenty of leftovers which we continue to reheat and enjoy at home. Excellent prices as well…go!

Kebab restaurant without shawarma?our party of

We had high expectations based on the reviews and the attractive decor. All four of us ordered shawarma (chicken and beef) with soup or salad, which was served about fifteen minutes after ordering. After we began eating, the waiter informed us that there was no shawarma available at all. We were tempted to leave, because the remaining main dishes were considerably more expensive and were made of ground beef, lamb or chicken which we wished to avoid. But having already nibbled on the salad, we felt obliged to stay and so we ordered more costly but less appetizing main dishes which were served with heaps of rice but no sauces or vegetables. I’ve had more tasty dishes at half the price at local mid-Eastern fast-food chains. Instead of telling us immediately that what we wanted was not available, the restaurant pulled the old bait-and-switch. At the very least, we should have been offered what we were finally served at the original price of our initial selection. We felt disappointed and cheated.

0 star Worth service ever I saw in Montreal I had a good experience with this restaurant, 5 years ago but last weekend on July 2019 I went again, and it seems that management group has been changed, so there is not only slow and poor services, very poor quality food and cold and oily , but also rude manager We ordered a plate of kebab with bread and they bring it after 30 minutes, kebab was placed on plate and bread on top, no tomato, onion or vegetable !!! no design nothing ; disrespectful service when we spoke with manager, he came back telling me that vegetable is just come with rice and not Kebab!!! ridicules ... He did not only apologize but also when I told him I'll never use your restaurant again until you are manager here, he came back telling me that you better don't pass by because I am the owner !!! very bad experience, I wasted my time and money

Great lunch

We took a few of our employees for lunch recently and were warmly greeted and served. Delicious lentil soup and many choices to order from. Many of us had the chicken and beef combo with basmati rice and potatoes, came with soup and dessert and tea all for well under $15. Good quality and service makes it hard to beat for a quick and simple lunch.

Our Favorite Restaurant

I had my 50th birthday dinner party and my son's 16th birthday dinner party at Chateau Kabab West Island January 12th 2019...we were over 40 people at the restaurant for the dinner party...as usual...the food was incredible, the staff were very friendly and efficient...and the owner made sure everything was perfect...and it was. I have eaten at almost all the top restaurants in and around Montreal...and i have to say this again...Chateau Kabab West Island is still our favorite place too eat...it is so good we even came back the next day (January 13th) for another AMAZING and beautifully cooked meal! ***Thanks again to all the staff that served all of us at my 50th dinner party...and we will be looking forward to eating there again next week!

Very satisfying

We went with a large group (with a reservation). There was delicious lentil soup, fresh salad, grilled vegetables, rice and various grilled meats. There were fries (somewhat superfluous), pita and hummus. Hot tea with sugar followed the meal. The food came promptly. The service was warm and not overly intruding. I would definitely go back if I were in the area.

Amazing Food, Best Service & Great Value

This is one of my most favorite restaurants in the Montreal area, as it has the best quality of middle eastern kabobs & kobideh, vegetarian and vegan food For big or small events my family, friends and colleagues all love to eat here. Always on time when we have our food delivered either at home, or at work. We love the beautiful and warm atmosphere where quality foods are served by professional management and friendly staff. Chateau Kebab in the West Island, is a must, once you go, you won't want to go anywhere else.
