Grumpy Staff and Slow Service at Drive-Thru

I've stopped here several times a week, over the past year, just for convenience. The staff at the drive-thru are so miserable and service is extremely slow. If they get something wrong with your order, they make you feel like it's your fault. The last straw was this past Thursday - part of my order was a tea, both bags on the side and 2 milk, 2 sugar on the side. When they handed me everything, I asked if the bags were in the milk/sugar bag. She looks at me, says "No", then says she has to ask her supervisor! WTH? The supervisor comes to the window, a couple minutes later, looks at me, says "here's your tea bags." Pi$$y face and no apology. Tired of their mistakes and sourpuss attitudes. I have bad experiences at most Tim Horton's. I think it's time to stop giving them my money. It's all crap food anyways.

this place is usually busy. typical tim horton's fare. loads of seating, loads of parking and convenient to rest at before tackling the GTA traffic. great picnic area to enjoy your coffee and snacks on the east side of the rest area.

Not a friendly Staff

This Tim’s Hortons is the slowest one. In the drive thru, I have waited 16 minutes to get my order. Most of the staff is unfriendly, quite miserable. Don’t even acknowledge you at the drive theu window. Some don’t say a word. I always ask for extra ice in my ice coffee, and if they do not add it, I will ask for more, just today I received in my coffee a huge chunk of ice, where I couldn’t even get my straw in it. At the time I asked for more, it was like I am bothering them, so they decided to do this. Because of the customer service at this location, they lost a good customer. They definitely need to improve on their customer service.

Slowest Tim Hortons around

No matter what time of day or day of the week this is the slowest Tim Hortons around. Drive thru is terrible. Be prepared to wait a long time in drive thru even if there os only one car ahead of you. Waited 10-15 minutes in drive thru line with only one car in front.. they take a long time to come to the window and many times orders are not correct. Only good thing about this Tim Hortons is that it is located just off the highway at an enroute!

No bread, no service, no adult supervision. Incoherent menu. When asked to put up a sign informing customers that there is no bread, reply - we have no paper???

I was so looking forward to trying my 1st Tim Hortons Canadian burger!! However the burger and waffle fries wee both extremely cold and the burger was dried out, along with that the 2 coffees ordered had the wrong lids on??? Beggars belief and then when it was changed burger came out and still had to wait in the waffle fries 🍟 then I was advised that the salad on the burger sandwich is what made it stone cold & dried out, don’t think so….. plus no apology- not very good customer service at all stay clear.

Drive through healthy selection ! Not

The menu they have indicates healthy selections. With the bran muffin being 36g of sugar ? That’s not good or even healthy ... please make the menu diabetic friendly because now it’s not at all

This Tim Horton’s has friendly staff and can keep the drive thru moving quickly. Actually it’s faster than walk in service, which might be a bit slower than usual.

Highway 401 rest stop

This Tim Horton's is located on a rest stop of the 401 highway called the Newcastle Travel Plaza. It is very busy with very long line ups. Good coffee.

Honestly disappointed. There was trash everywhere. The garbage was full and the tables filthy. It is entirely not a family restaurant. The place is turning into a dive for/by unruly loud teenagers who seem to be friends with the kids who are working. I spoke directly to the young guy operating the cash and told his there is trash all over the floor and he didn't even acknowledge that I spoke to him. One young guy was hanging around outside. The food was shameful. There in beautiful colour pictures is the advertisement of what the "Artisan" sandwich is supposed to look like and the pictures here are of my actual sandwich. Avoid this Tim Horton's if you want a positive experience in a clean restaurant where you won't need ear defenders to protect your children from profane language.

A fast Tim's stop off the westbound 401

We stopped in to this Tim's on the way back from an Eastern Ontario trip to grab a coffee for the road. This Tim's is right off the westbound 401 at a rest stop with a number of other places. What makes this Tim's different from the regular restaurant is the fact that the rest stop building is sort of like a food court and the product offering looks a little limited. Beyond that the coffee is the same great coffee you know. This is a great place for a quick java stop on your 401 travels.

They R always short on something. Niagara Falls sucks big time. Georgetown not better either.

I think Tim Hortons R competing with one to another who can be shorter on food stuff and water down coffee.I used to love bying their coffee and sandwiches. Now U go there and at times R completely out of everything on menu. Screw U Tim Hortons and lousy coffee and ever short on food menu. Next time bring fly swatter to kill them right on donuts.

This Tim's is part of a rest area along the 401. It is the last on-highway stop on the Westbound 401 before you reach Toronto so it is always a busy place. We have stopped here often and have found the service to be variable - sometimes fast and efficient, other times slow and disorganized. Sometimes the line is short and tings seem to be going well, at other time the line is so long we just leave without getting anything. The menu is standard Tim's - nothing special. Coffee, tea, soup and an assortment of sandwiches.

Enjoy lunch in Tim Hortons

Like most Tim Hortons the service is very efficient although sometimes complicated, you can't order two coffees together if they have a difference,each has to be ordered individualiy. The quality of food and services in this Tim Hortons is excellent, would recommend it if you are in the area, or even travelling along the 401 and passing Bowmanville.

Very Very Slow Service

Not sure if some employees booked off sick this day, or they always un short staffed...but on this particular day, service was painfully slow. It was obvious that customers who chose the drive thru were being looked after, but those of us in line seemed not to be a priority. My wife was grabbing some food from Wendy's; while I was to get us coffee. After 10 minutes of standing in a line that wasn't moving, I joined my wife who now had our meals. When I finished my meal, I saw that the person I had been standing behind in line, had not yet been served. The line was not that long to account for such incredibly slow service.
