Unique entree offerings that are healthy and fresh, and the coffee is much good too. They also have board games and local things for sale.

I recently moved away from Virden and the place I miss most is Gopher Creek. Lovely people and great food & coffee. It is only two minutes from the highway and well worth a visit

Gopher Creek Coffee has lots of personality from the decor to the staff and the changes every day menu. The day we stopped the soup was leek and pear. New to me, and quite nice. Equally unique the sandwich was ham, turkey, apple, goat cheese and balsamic mayo on a very pleasant seeded bread. Also quite good. The biscuit that accompanied the soup was a standout. Perhaps the best this side of my grandmothers. Coffee was also very good. I’d stop again for sure.

a limited menu but very good food for a very reasonable price. Very good selection of coffee!!!! This is well worth the extra couple of minutes to drive off the highway to get away from the normal chain restos

The food is freshly made. The squash soup was delicious and the chicken wrap was tasty. Trendy atmosphere -you order at the counter and they bring it to you.

I really like the fact that many items offered are home made and that the menu changes with the seasons. A wonderful place operated by great people.

We stopped in on our road trip and loved it so much that we made sure to stop here on our way back. Had a delicious lunch that they were able to modify according to our family's dietary needs. Lemongrass slushey was so delicious and refreshing on a hot day!

Read the reviews and assumed they were overplayed. - They weren't This is a really good foodie place. So good we went back fro breakfast rather than having the complimentary breakfast at our hotel. For lunch we both had salads with a lovely savoury scone [or biscuit] mine had trout, Celia's feta. For breakfast I had a skillet with spinach, egg, cheese, sausage and bacon whilst Celia had a beef pattie sandwich. All brilliantly put together. The coffee is also great. The ambiance is relaxing and the chef is happy to come and talk food. Go there you won't be disappointed

Looking for somewhere to eat on the road between Winnipeg and Regina that is not a chain? This was a very nice surprise, the food was just excellent. Charming place is a sleepy but charming town. A very nice selection of interesting and unique lunches for such a small place in a small town. NOT fast food, but a really nice meal.

This small restaurant has unique food and fresh baking. Don't be afraid of the menu, it's delicious and I'm certain the staff will be happy to help you if you have any questions about the flavours you're about to experience. My personal favourite is the weekend brunch specials. The coffee is wonderful, the food is great, the staff friendly, and the penny floor AMAZING!

When you're driving prairie highways you can find lots of eateries that specialize in burgers and fries and the like, but not so many that offer Cuban sandwiches, smoked salmon and gumbo. We stopped in twice on a recent journey, eastbound and westbound, the first time for lunch, the second for a late breakfast. The sandwich and wrap on our first visit were delicious, with house-roasted chicken, fresh vegetables and house-made dressing. On our homeward visit, we had beautifully prepared and presented dishes with scrambled eggs, roasted potatoes and squash, and fresh spinach. And the coffee was terrific. The friendly and energetic proprietors, Paul and Manda, are Red Seal chefs who have created a lovely culinary oasis in rural Manitoba. The prices are reasonable, the food is delicious, and the 2-minute drive off the highway is more than amply repaid. I encourage everyone to go there.

Great people, great food, great vibe. You can enjoy as a single or a group outing. I stop in whenever I am in town or passing by! Just off hwy#1 drive to the heart of town. Hidden beside the two innercity hotels do not miss the amazing things done to delicious coffee. The friendly couple can tell you what is in your food where it came from and how it was prepared. If your at all interested in what goes into your body😉 Big talents in a small town don't miss this experience! Go now go often!
