Pinecroft never disappoints. You will need a reservation, but the food is worth it! We have our favourites but are always tempted by the specials offered.

We stopped for lunch and enjoyed the view. Both of us had the hamburger and fries. We saw in the corner overlooking the pond and trees. See photos. We had a later lunch so it was not busy.

Description
The tearoom began in 1978 as a celebration of 30 years in business for Pinecroft. Its namesake is a large frog carved from stone some 125 years ago, now green with moss and age. The green frog resides peacefully beside the tumble way. In earlier times, in St. Thomas, it was used as a stand for mounting horses and entering carriages. It is now the caretaker of our pond. The tearoom began by serving tea, muffins and homemade bread. Now home cooked country lunches are specialties of the tearoom. Fresh baked bread and rolls, soups, salads, sandwiches and luncheon features with croissants, crepes and patty shells fill the menu. Throughout the year various evening meals are presented at Thanksgiving and Christmas or by special appointment. Now licensed under the AGCO.
