Excellent food and wonderful table service. I had the gyro and the house tzatziki is fantastic. Everyone enjoyed their lunch (clubhouse & mouth watering oven baked chicken with a tasty Greek salad (excellent salad dressing) Definitely a do again!! Too full to enjoy the tantalizing...desserts in the showcase as you walk in. Perhaps dessert first next time??? Thank you!!More

Owner and staff are great, always feel welcomed at Ruby’s. Large selection on there menu to please children and adults, I am sure you won’t be disappointed. Service has been fast every time we visit.

Had our Valentines night out at Ruby's and food plus service both great. Always good food and service here. And love rhe fact that they don't have over loud music drowning out conversation. They also have decent beer on tap.

Not really that hidden . Just hadn't heard of it till last week . Great selection , excellent service , large portions and reasonable prices . Went with another couple , who had been there a few times over the last 10 years . We...never knew the place existed , but sure glad we went . Waitresses always coming back and asking if we needed anything or topping up our drinks . Apparently as busy at lunch time as it is at dinner , but we were seated quickly , with no reservations . Will be back soon . If there was anything that was a negative , it may have been the buzz of people noise , but you have to expect that if everyone is having a good time . Forgot , everything we saw or ate was homemade and the menu lists vegetarian , gluten free and senior meals also .More

We stopped recently at Ruby's Cookhouse for lunch located in Aylmer. Ruby's has a large diverse menu including a large breakfast menu. We ordered the Quesadillas, southwest chicken club wrap and a beef dip. Our server was friendly and helpful. The place was very busy...but we received our food in a reasonable time. The quesadilla were delicious but a bit greasy but still good. The southwest chicken club wrap had to much ranch dressing which made the wrap really soggy. The wrap was good but soggy. We also ordered the beef dip. The roast beef was a bit dry. Food was good but had a couple minor issues. We still like Rubys and will be back.More

I especially love going there for breakfast, they get it right every time! Excellent dinner menu as well, not my favorite stake please though.

Love our Ruby’s breakfast! Kid’s love the chocolate chip pancakes! We love all the different omelette choices Always good service too!

I had the fish tacos, they were very good. Our server was very pleasant. The price is very comparable to other places in town. Will go back.

We very much enjoyed our stop here. Though busy, several servers who passed us with a tray of food made sure to greet and assure us that someone would be along to seat us momentarily. Our server was very friendly and helpful with our menu...questions. I enjoyed the lake perch dinner with loaded fries (some of the best I've ever had!), and my husband had a very tasty salad. We shared one of their delectable desserts--a slice of wonderful chocolate cheesecake. Highly recommended!More

Ruby's Cookhouse in Aylmer has a very large varied menu with reasonable prices, besides the large menu they usually have a couple daily specials. Ruby's has lots of seating as well as patio seating. I ordered the herb roasted chicken served with their own dipping...sauce which was very good. My server was friendly and prompt with drink refills. For dessert Ruby's has a large selection of cheesecakes . Good food and service.More

First time at this location. Very nice, lots of seating inside as well as patio seating. We sat on the patio. We interacted with several staff who were all SUPER friendly. Two of us has fish & chips which I would highly recommend. Two large...pieces of fish with a small portion of fries that were cooked perfectly. It also comes with coleslaw but it was NOT good. 3 people tried it and no one liked it. It was just cabbage in a dish no creamy mayo or anything on it. One of us got a double cheeseburger meal. Comes with the same portion of fries and a coleslaw. The burger was pretty big, homemade burger and fresh bun. Very filling. 2 of us had breakfast, one sunny side up eggs with turkey sausage (dry and not very good) and eggs Benedict. Both came with home fries that were delicious and cooked perfectly. The sunny side up eggs were over cooked and couldn’t dip toast. The eggs Benedict was over cooked and yolks were firm. They replaced the eggs Benedict and apologized and took 1/2 the price off. It took a LONG time to get the new eggs Benedict and so one was left eating alone. It was pretty good once it was replaced but still a bit over cooked. It had peamale bacon with. The prices were similar to the cost if other places. I would return again for the fish & chips. A couple of us had been before and recommend it because they had liked it before,they went for breakfast and said everything was cooked great that time, maybe it was a bad day for eggs that day. So my advice skip the turkey sausage and coleslaw but you will get a good meal and excellent service.More
