Victoria to Canada's Rockies
Tip: How long should you take for this trip? Really - as long as you can. You could drive it from end to end in around 15 hours. Taking 6 days will see you enjoying some activities, but to really revel in these landscapes aim for 9-10.
If this trip were a movie, it’d be an epic. On it, the Trans-Canada Highway winds from glacier fields and hot springs to pristine hiking trails. You’ll marvel at iridescent lakes that are an impossibly vivid shade of blue. From Victoria’s picturesque harbour, via whale watching, ghost towns, steam trains and Rocky Mountain peaks, take your seats for a road trip that is a cinematographer’s dream.
