How Sporty does it have to be?

I have a baggage question: does a "sport" size piece of luggage have to contain something sporty?

I'd like to travel with something like this: https:/…B01NCAYCHC

Which is smaller than the sport sizes, but bigger than regular luggage.

Do I need to put a tennis racket in it?

I'll be on Virgin Atlantic: https:/…additional-baggage.html

If you want to use an oversize bag under the sports equipment exemptions, the bag must only carry the designated sports equipment, and nothing else.

I think that a bowling ball would work or a jock strap. Both are considered sporty.
