Emotional Support Peacock? Whatever next?

businessinsider.com/united-denies-womans-att…

Various people were upset about the airlines clamping down a bit on their requirements for passengers to prove that emotional support animals weren't just a way for passengers to transport their pets for free.

This article sort of illustrates why they did that.

The airline told her what the requirements were and that the animal wasn't going to be able to travel and yet she STILL took it to the airport.

These people really irritate me, as a *responsible* animal owner. I don't try to skirt rules or ignore them completely, and I always try to be proactively considerate of others. People who break the rules with their pets cause rules to become more restrictive. We have several beach front parks where no dogs are allowed now because people just couldn't obey the leash laws and also pick up after their pets.

All these liars are causing those with true needs for service animals to have to jump through extra hoops.

Maybe instead of relying on animals for "emotional support" we should rely on each other?
