Your thoughts on Asiana Airlines IN couch JFK to ICN
Unfortunately coach is coach. It’s a long flight to be cramped. Only you can determine your comfort level.
I flew Asiana from SFO to ICN in coach a few years ago, and found it more comfortable than United or Delta economy. In fact, standard economy legroom on Asiana was about the same as Economy Plus on United.
It’s fine. Probably better than the big USA airlines. As one post already said, coach is coach. It’s never great but usually adequate.
Asiana is excellent in coach/economy; the best economy class I’ve ever used and light years ahead of the US and European carriers I’ve flown. The only possible issue is if you don’t like beef, as both main meal options are usually beef (bimimbab or steak, both delicious for me). If that’s the case (you don’t like beef) then book a special meal.
Their business class is meh, but economy is really good. I highly recommend them.Edited: 18 February 2018, 00:56
