Displaying the "classic" Google flights

I find the new look Google flights to be a step backwards.

It has obviously been designed for tablets/phones, but is not as good as the previous site for desktops/laptops.

Is there any way to display the "classic" Google flights look?

I switched from Firefox to Internet Explorer and the "classic" format was displayed.

Must be a browser issue.

For the moment there is an icon (running man/exit sign) in the bottom left of the Google Flights page, this will go back to classic view.

Steve,

That is a "Where's Waldo" game that Google is promoting at the moment.

It does not relate to my initial post.

I'm pretty sure that I know the difference between "Where's Waldo" and an Exit Sign icon, look at the bottom left of the new Google Flights page and you will see this guy: https://snag.gy/9Yj2la.jpg (green highlighting is mine).

Thanks Steve, didn't notice that. Mike it has nothing to do with where's Wally. Click on it and you will see.

They have forced the new Google flights on us and I didn't see a way to get back. The map function on the new one is not very good or at least I have not gotten used to it yet.

Thanks Steve_ZAUK.

I clicked the icon and was redirected to the "classic" Google flights layout.

Where's Waldo is currently irritating people on Google maps.

I also prefer the classic - but did/do it differently. I use the following text after the questionmark in the address bar. - no space after the ?

f=0#search;

I'm kinda hoping that may continue to work after the exit button is removed

I must say that I got to know Google Flights quite recently, and therefore on the new outlook. I've had a look at the classic view, but since I got used to new one to begin with, that's the one I prefer.

For me, the new version of Google Flights givers me prices in AUD - a bit of a benefit.
