Carry on allowance for Korean Air after Delta flight?

Hi!

I am booked entirely through Delta; however, I want to make sure that I am going to be able to take both carry-ons onto my connecting flight (codeshare partner) with Korean air.

I'm flying from Atlanta to Seoul (Delta), and then Seoul to Hanoi (Korean air).

I will have 2 carry-ons, as permitted through Delta, but Korean air's website says they only allow one, but I'm not sure if that applies because I'm transferring?

Just want to double check.

Thanks!

Your check in luggage will be the same for all flights but your carry on must comply to the rules of the airline. So you need t comply with the rules for Korean

I'm not checking any baggage, unfortunately - I prefer to have everything on me.

You must obey the carry on rules of the airline you are flying, regardless of what happened on the previous flight.

Both Korean and Delta have the same carry on rules, one carry on bag and one personal item.
