Sandals vs. Club Med (or other all inclusive)?

We are researching for our 25th anniversary next year. Which type of all inclusive resort (to Carribean type area) do you suggest? (approx. $4,000.) Thanks!

It depends on what you are looking for.. what do you enjoy doing? For example, if you enjoy mostly sitting around the pool/beach, having drinks brought to you, having very nice rooms and facilities, and having a relatively large choice of restaurants with mostly American style food, Sandals is a good choice. If you want much the same, but in a resort restricted to pairs/couples, try the Couples resort. A discount version of these would be a Breezes resort (not adults only). If you want an active vacation, with lots of sports, entertainment, dancing, a staff that assists you in the activities but does not wait on you "hand and foot" and more European style food with more basic (but clean) physical facilities, look to Club Med.

Now, tell us more what you like, what time of year you are going, how long you plan on staying, etc., we may be able to make better suggestions.

What about an All Inclusive vacation in Cuba or the Dominican Republic? Go to the Melia or Iberostar Resort websites.
