Good evening to all

My husband and I are coming down from Dublin to Cork the beginning of Sept and want to know how long of a drive is it to Rosscarbery. I want to see the town my relatives came from in the mid 1800's and see if Benduff is still there as well.

Thanks very much

Rosemary W.

Dublin to Rosscarbery without any stops will take you about 5 hours (depending on where in Dublin you are coming from, the day your are travelling, and the time of day your are travelling)

There are a number of places that you can break your journey on route if you want to do that.

Benduff Castle, or Castle Salem is indeed still there AND you can stay there if you like info@castlesalem.ie

I am so sorry for not saying thanks. Never got there but planning to very soon. Moved out of ATL. to HILTON HEAD so now our retirement is done. Looking forward to investigating Donovans(Mom) and Cavanaugh(Dad).
