The night market in Pantai Cenang is on Thursday.

One of the nearest beachside hotels is Malibest. If you wish to splash out on your stay then look at Cass del Mar or Meritus Pelangi.

It is difficult to suggest a hotel because we do not know what your budget is and there are many hotels in Pantai Cenang from 5* to backpacker dorms.

You could also look at AB Motel, The Cabin, Tubotel and White Lodge.

Dear Sunny,

if location is the only thing that matters and budget is not, check out Casa del Mar and for sure as RT recommended Meritus Pelangi.

Frangipani is nice too and so is the location.

If you can accept not to be smash on the beach but close by Bon Ton and Temple Tree and Ambong Ambong are very nice too.

We have just come back from Langkawi - we stayed in Pantai Cenang. We wanted a hotel that was decent, reasonably priced and close to the beach. We chose Nadia's Hotel in Cenang and we are glad we chose this hotel. We had 5 pleasant nights and a great time in Langkawi. The beach is across the small road from the hotel, staff are friendly, nice breakfast, they provide free beach towels, etc. There are many eateries around the hotel, Cenang Mall is next door and there are many shops nearby.

We had just came back to Singapore from a 5 nights stay at langkawi. We stayed at malibest resort. I reccommend that if you want to stay in malibest resort, to choose the deluxe family room which offers 2 double bed that can accomodate 2 to 4 pax. I travelled with my mom so just 2 of us. And we had 2 double beds, it was spacious. We paid on averagely about $70 sg dollars per night stay, which is a good affordable price. Email the resort to request for a seaview room at 3rd floor!

Do not stay at the beach chalet. We stayed at the super deluxe chalet for 2 nights, it was uncomfortable with old and rundown amenities. The aircon looks dusty and old that doesn't cool the room during daytime. Although you get a good view of the sea which is true, but after I stayed at the deluxe family room, I much prefer the seaview from 3rd floor of the resort. You can see a vast sea and the horizon. On some nights, we looked up the sky and could see a few stars provided the night sky wasn't too cloudy.

Jacob, It seems that you are doing advertising for Ambong. Are you aware that this is not allowed on TA forums?
