Hi
Can anyone tell me if the nearby supermarket (I understand it's about a 15 minute drive away) sells wine, beer and soft drinks? We may also be bringing nappies / diapers etc, but if anyone could let me know whether they are stocked in the local supermarket, that would be great.

If Four Seasons/Anahita then as far as I remember when I visited there are no supermarkets close by - I think the nearest would be in Mahebourg and feel sure this is further than 15 minutes drive away.
You can get wine, beer and soft drinks and disposable nappies at supermarkets in Mauritius.
Yes, at the Four Seasons - someone had posted in a previous topic that there was a supermarket 15 minutes away, but perhaps not if you thing Mahebourg is further away than that.
Thank you for letting me know re wine, beer and baby items though - we can just make a couple of trips by taxi and get what we need there.
Mahebourg is too far. The nearest big village is Bel Air, where you can find Winner's (supermarket chain).
