Late Arrival into Grenada

We are staying at the Sandals resort and will arrive into Grenada around 8pm. Should we go to the sandals resort or Checkin at a local hotel and go to sandals first thing in the morning? Will we be able to get dinner and enjoy the resort if we arrive around 9pm? Is it worth it?

You might get a different answer on the sandals supporters facebook page, but people have asked this before.

You can get plenty of food and drink at sandals which is about 10 minutes from the airport, well into the night, [not sure its all truly 24/7] i would be surprised if you werent at sandals an hour after landing, cthe airport is small and pretty efficient, sandals have people stationed at the exits...

If the objective is to maximise your sandals experience you will head straight there.

If the objective is value for money in the 'all you care to eat/drink' stakes, you will book yourself into a cheap hotel for the night and check into sandals next day when you are able [2pm for rooms i think but im not sure, and people get - facilities before then - check with sandals imho.] For cheap hotels, try la heliconia or dr grooms apartments close to the airport or the siesta on grand anse.
