Immunisations & Eats

Hello, we are Staying in Beruwala at the beginning of February which is only four weeks away.

Please could someone let us know what immunisations are needed (we are from the UK).

Also, are there any good local restaurants in the Beruwala area?

Hi there,

For 2nd question, look no further than here...

And for 1st one - well it's really better to use the GP/travel nurse as main source, as they studied for it and us here not ;-) But as general guideline: Hep-A, Typhoid (for stays of 2 and more weeks), Tetanus and Polio are the basic set. Extras like rabies, Hep-B, Encephalitis solely for the 1% or less of travellers with very specific activities bringing these extra risks.

All the best,
