taxi availability in Odeceixe in March

Am planning on traveling thru Portugal for 2 weeks in mid march. As part of the trip would like to do a day hike from Zambujeira do Mar to Odeceixe on the fisherman's trail and then taxi back to Zambujeira do Mar to spend the night before continuing on. Has anyone had experience taking a taxi in march leaving from Zambujeira do Mar? My concern is that in the off season taxi service might be limited to nonexistent.

I would think taxis will be non-existant in Odeceixe, nomatter what time of year.

Search 'Taxi Odeceixe' and you will find two local taxi operators listed. Surely this is not difficult to do?

You should arrange your journey in advance. It's around 15km, expect to pay around €20 on a weekday, more if it's a weekend.
