staying in Lagos for 10 days in april. am thinking of visiting odeceixe for an overnight and aljezur on the way back. so two questions . do i visit odeceixe , overnight and continue back to Lagos stopping off in aljezur or hit odeceixe and overnight in aljezur and then carry on back to Lagos. question two is are either of them worth the travelling by bus to see. your opinions and thoughts would be most appreciated.

kindest regards to all.

Buses are very rare creatures in those parts, so you need to plan carefully especially on Saturdays when there is only one ordinary bus each way and there are none at all on Sundays.

Both are very nice places to visit, but I am not sure there would be enough to detain you overnight as it were. I have never stopped overnight in either.

Current bus times http://www.algarvebus.info/036.htm - the Rede Expressos coaches to and from Lisbon do take local passengers between Odeceixe, Aljezur and Lagos but are much more expensive than the other buses. Tickets for those must be obtained before boarding.
