Cook island dollars

Hi, has anyone had success getting Cook island money before leaving Sydney? I tried a few places today and was told they don't deal in Cook island money.

Notes too, I grabbed 2 different $3 in January. They also have a $10, $20 and $50, but you will have to go to the bank to get them. The coins are 1c, 2c, 5c, 10c, 20c, 50c, $1, $2 & $5. You will usuall only see the last 3 in circulation as you can't buy much with cents in the cooks.

The $1 has Tangaroa on it and the $2 is triangular. You can get blocks of rectangular 10c pieces on ebay.

Their currency are New Zealand dollars.
