COCKROACHES IN ROOM,
CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT AT HOTEL DID NOT HELP
BLOOD STAINED COVERS!!!
DELAY IN CHANGING ROOM AND ASTHMA RECURRED DUE TO SPRAYING OF INSECTICIDE, would not confirm change of room til the next afternoon... I told them I would sleep in the lobby if they didn't change and would tell all the guests about the cockroaches....
LACK OF RESPONSE FROM SUNWING REGARDING COMPLAINTS.. will go viral and hit the newspapers... this was the worst vacation of my life, between the COCKROACHES, flight delays, bedspreads with blood stains/ broken air and AGGRAVATION... I will do everything in my power to discourage anyone from going on Sunwing. Disgusting lack of customer service. How come, they don't call or return mail to follow up on dissatisied customers... is it because there are too many complaints.
no proof of photos... as I was naiive and thought, each probelm in itself was not an issue... but when I saw COCKROACHES in the hotel room and in my shoes.. that was my breaking point.... I was too frightened, alarmed and beyond myself : it never occured to take pictures then...Boy was I wrong.. if I had photos... Sunwing would be out of business in CUBA.
will write to my my local travel section and notify them of my trials and tribulations while on vacation... This is a very popular place with French Canadians as it is reasonable and not too far... but you get what you pay for... this was absolutely garbage. Never ever in my life have I had such a bad travel experience.! DO NOT TRAVEL WITH SUNWING.... at any cost... it ain't worth it....
