Exit Tax

Hi what is the exit tax about please and how much do you have to pay? Has it got to be in CUC? Is it CUC = £5. many thanx all!

The exit tax is just that, an exit tax. It must be paid in CUC and the amount is 25CUC per person. Set it aside as soon as you get there. There are banks at Cuban airports, however if you need to change more money.

jobfamily.there was a long thread on this a week or so back.if you are going with First choice.the exit tax is included in price of holiday.all other travel agents(Tom cook) they are not and you have to pay on way home at airport.hope this helps.but phone your travel agent and ask.i did and lucky to be with FC.

Hi jobfamily.

Just a note about what you think a CUC might be.

You asked if a CUC = £5.

1 CUC is about 50p, give or take a penny or two.

So the exit tax will be about 12- 13 quid each.
