You can take the shuttle bus or taxi. We just missed the bus and an old chev taxi pulled up. Tried to get the 4 of the us to pay 2 CUC's each......we said no and the driver ended up taking the 4 of us for 5 CUC's right up to the church. It looks like a church from Mexico and you will see it if you sit on the right hand-side (doorside) on the bus when you come from the airport and drive through the town of Varadero to your resort. Go and knock on the sidedoor. When we went the priest was away in Mantanzas and we were greeted by the housekeeper who only spoke Spanish. We got along with our broken Spanish and sign language. She let us inside and even showed us the room with donations. You can just give your goodies to her if the priest is not there. CQ :))))

and there is Fatima, located next door to the Barlovento. Mass is Saturdays at 5 p.m. It is located at calle 9. It is on the same 1st avenue as the Santa Elvira. It is not as easy access during the work week as Santa Elvira, but it is the same priest who says Mass. It is within walking distance of Barlovento, Tortuga, Kawama, Tropical, Azules, it is situated just in front of the bridge that takes one over to Santa Marta.
