18-storey Moon Palace

If my chrome is translating correctly, I'm reading that the go-ahead has been (or will be?) given for Moon Palace to start building an 18-storey resort on Macao Beach. Anyone know if this is correct?

The article I read stated that the President was giving (or about to give) the go-ahead:

Didn't Palace Resorts fail once before in The DR with Moon Palace which is now the Hard Rock?

I know The Hard Rock is owned by the brother but they do keep the business separate, Hard Rock/Palace

Part of the appeal in vacationing in Punta Cana is the tropical feel of the destination. If or when the first high rise hotel is built and others follow, part of that appeal may be lost.
