Entry or exit aiport fee/taxes??

Are there any additional taxes you have to pay either upon arrival or departure from the Dominican Republic?

no charge to enter if airline gives you the entry card

20 US to exit, cash only

Save the bottom part of tourist card when you enter as you need it to exit DR

I think there was a post that US citizens had to pay for the card and the Can citizens recieved it from their travel agent.

For my family of 4, I had to hide $80US deep in my wallet so I wouldn't spend it on cigars or rum during the week. But the real kicker at departure is the $30us it cost for 3 pizza slices and 3 cokes at the airport. After a week of all-inclusive that was my first jolt back to the real world.

Oh, the $80 is $20 each for exiting. I know Conquest, Sunquest pay the $10 entry but not the exit fee.
