Casual down town St. George restaurant

Looking for a casual place for a group of early 20 year olds to have a reasonable priced lunch on a week day. Sit down and not an overly heavy bar atmosphere. Suggestions? They live on the island but don't get into town much.

you could ask brian benjamin (BB's) on the carrenage, but it might not be cheap enough. Definitely nice though. The red crab also on the carrenagre second, Patricks homestyle is small but might accomodate you? Deynas is definitely on target, but not nice enough imho.

Does it have to be st georges? Where do they live? There may be cheaper or nicer local options, theres a nice place under the post office in sauteurs.

The New Nutmeg restaurant seems like it might be an option.

Whereabouts is the Red Crab Bob? I've not heard of it before.

The creole shack above Andalls supermarket in town may be appropriate for what you are looking for. Not fancy, reasonably priced buffet style food with indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the cruise terminal.

I 2nd the Creole Shack. Red crab is not a budget restaurant. We have eaten there a few times and always had a good meal. j

They live in true blue but wanted a place to all eat reasonably in St George proper as they are going into the market.

I will also side with the majority, the Creole Shack sounds like your best bet, they serve local Caribbean food, buffet style, very popular with the locals. Only slight downside, if you are going to St. Georges on a Saturday, it may be super busy at lunchtime but food is good and reasonably priced.
