Grocery Shopping on Sunday afternoon?

We will be arriving at Hewanorra airport on a Sunday at 3:00 pm. We would like to pick up a few of grocery store items and liquor on our way to Soufriere. It appears that Massey's grocery store closes at 1 pm according their website. Just need a few items to hold us over until Monday. Are there any other optons/suggestions?

We had the same dilemma a week ago and solved it by having our host get a few ''necessities'', which they happily did. Gin I brought from the home airport - better price and availability, and this will hold true for most liquor and wine. You are allowed 40 oz each person. https://customs.gov.lc/travellers.php

Bon jou Thhadlam,

Take amphitryon's advice and ask your villa manager to stock up necessities. Otherwise, you will find most everything you need in Soufrière from Monday on.

Your arrival at UVF is perfect for a stop along the way to Soufrière at the local bread bakery just before Laborie village or at the twice-a-day wood fire bread baker in Laborie village at around 7 AM and 5 PM. Also on Sundays, I believe.

Bless up! Paul

I answered the same - but their prior post indicates they are staying at Stonefield, so they might not be as helpful as a villa owner in pre-stocking groceries to compete with their restaurant service.

We are staying at Stonefield as indicated by pussuskattus so I will contact them about providing some items. According to their website, they have some grocery items on site. Hopefully enough to hold us over until Monday. Thank you all for your replies.
